JENNIFER BLISS BENNETT (VIOLIN, VIOLA DA GAMBA) AND DAVID GORDON (HARPSICHORD) PLAY A ONE HOUR CONCERT OF 17TH CENTURY MUSIC BY THE GREAT ENGLISH COMPOSER WILLIAM BYRD, WHO WAS AT THE PEAK OF HIS POWERS AT THE TIME OF THE BUILDING OF THE CHAPEL, AND THE AUSTRIAN VIRTUOSO VIOLINIST/COMPOSER HEINRICH BIBER.
IN ADDITION TO PLAYING SONATAS BY BIBER AND PIECES BY BYRD, DAVID AND JENNIFER WILL BRING TO LIFE THEMES AND SONGS BY BYRD THROUGH IMPROVISATION AND RE-INVENTION. A UNIQUE EVENT IN A UNIQUE VENUE
THE CONCERT WILL FINISH AROUND 5PM AND BUBBLY WILL BE SERVED OUTSIDE THE CHAPEL AT THE END OF THE CONCERT
