Heritage Open Day - Offord D'Arcy
Explore the church memorials and the history of the Offord villages going back more than 700 years.
The Friends of St. Peter's at Offord D'Arcy have spent over a decade reasearching and discovering new information about the history of this important church, going back over 7 centuries.
See how local residents of past years have a family tree that resulted in three Kings and Queens of England. Right up to the modern day, there are archives of how Offord d'Arcy participated in the Festival of Britain in 1951, together with much more information and reading material of people who have passed through these church doors.
On Saturday, the church is open between 10.00 and 5.00 p.m., and on Sunday, from 1.00 until 6.00 p.m.
