Let these churches transport you from the 21st century into a world of enchantment.

Firstly, we will enjoy a lovely atmospheric Medieval Fenland church, St John the Baptist, Parsons Drove, filled with carved faces peering out of the stonework. The churchyard has some intricately detailed gravestones and an obelisk to John Peck, an influential local farmer who died in 1851.

Then you will discover the simplicity of Guyhirn Chapel, designed in 1660 for Puritan worship. It remained virtually unchanged, this chapel has plain glass windows and its original narrow pews.

Last stop will be magnificent Ely Cathedral with its unique 14th century octagonal lantern tower, which is counted among the wonders of the medieval world.

This tour will begin at Ely train station at 10am, and will then return to the station by 4.30pm.
