Historic Chapels Trust Freelance Fundraiser

To 31 March 2020 but possible extension for 2 further years

Do you love beautiful old buildings? Use your experience to raise funds for important historic chapels and help keep them open for everyone to enjoy.

Since its inception in 1993 the Historic Chapels Trust has cared for some of the best chapels, churches, meeting houses or other religious buildings with the support of a single major funder. This will end in 2022 and HCT wishes to secure additional multi-year funding for the future.

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser on a freelance basis to develop a case for support, identify funders and write bids, and develop a 3-year funding plan. You will also manage the HCT’s supporter and Patron renewals.

The successful fundraiser will have strong attention to detail, exceptional research and writing skills, extensive knowledge of the fundraising market and existing connections to funders.
