On Yer Bike for CCT

14 Oct 2013

The CCT CEO Crispin Truman and West Regional Director Colin Shearer got ‘on their bikes’ this month for an epic 230-mile sponsored cycle to raise funds for historic churches.

The marathon route took in seven CCT churches across four counties, from 14th century Church of John the Baptist in Bristol city centre to picturesque St. Anthony’s on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall, via one of the highest churches in England - Dartmoor’s St. Michael and All Angels’ in Princetown at 1,430ft above sea level.

Churches visited en route include St. Michael’s at Clapton-in-Gordano, Holy Saviour at Puxton, Sutton Mallet Church and St. Thomas’ at Thurlbear, all in Somerset; St. Michael’s at Princetown and St. Nonna’s at Bradstone in Devon. You can see the journey unfold on our Facebook page.

The intrepid duo has so far raised £630 of their £1000 target. Can you help them reach their target by making a small donation? It’s easy to do and every pound will help protect our historic churches.
