Covid-19 Update

11 May 2020

On Sunday 10 May, the Government made an announcement about its plans for the next stage of measures to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.

We understand people are eager to be able to enjoy CCT churches in person again and would like to know of potential re-opening dates. The Government’s announcement indicated that the opening of public venues is still some time away and before CCT churches can re-open, there will be a great deal of planning to do in order to protect the health of our volunteers, staff and members of the public.

We continue to liaise with our partners at the Church of England and Department for Digital Media Culture and Sport and are actively planning for a range of scenarios. We ask for your patience and trust in our staff to do this as effectively as possible.

We know members of the public will have many questions whenever a decision is made that public venues can re-open. When that happens, we will formulate plans in accordance with Government advice and information will be available on our website as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can still enjoy the beauty of CCT churches online and have a go at some of the activities from our Resources for Life in Lockdown pages.
