CCT ArChWay project shortlisted for Regeneration & Renewal Awards 2012

22 Nov 2012

ArChWay is a project linking fourteen of our rural Lincolnshire churches through the arts. The project’s overall aim is to develop these churches as a resource for local artists and arts groups and to open visitors’ eyes to the amazing original art - carvings, wall paintings and stained glass, within the buildings. The churches, which are clustered around Louth, are special, atmospheric and set in stunning locations.

There will be new contemporary arts installations and community workshopsbus tours of the ArChWay trail; conservation work at the churches and student placements.

Four artists have been working with the local community to turn their stories and experience into glasswork, poetry, film and sound all of which will be on display throughout the trail.

We are delighted that this project has been shortlisted for a Regeneration & Renewal Award the winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony in November... we can't wait to hear the results!
