'And thereby hangs a tale' exhibition launched
The beautiful gardens of this romantic cottage were a perfect setting for the launching of the exhibition as it begins its tour around a number of major heritage sites in the Midlands.
The exhibition explores the mystery surrounding William Shakespeare’s marriage to Anne Hathaway. Guests included representatives from partner organizations such as the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Worcester Cathedral and Holy Trinity Church in Stratford.
Loyd Grossman spoke passionately about why these things matter and Paul Edmonson, Head of Research & Knowledge at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust gave his thoughts on the matter.
The exhibition will remain at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage until the end of January 2012 when it moves to Coventry Cathedral.
