Experience entertainment from the Middle Ages with York Mystery Plays - The Baptism of Christ

23rd June is the festival of St John the Baptist. As part of our celebrations for St John's Eve, the York Mystery Players will be performing The Baptism of Christ (the only Mystery Play in which John the Baptist appears - excluding the Harrowing of Hell).

Performances will take place at Holy Trinity, Goodramgate, York on Saturday 24th June 2023 at 2pm & 4pm. The show lasts 20 minutes and will take place outside (weather permitting).

A limited number of tickets will be available at the gate. Gates will be closed in the event that the maximum capacity of 30 is reached.
