This event is now sold out.

In 2013 two painted panels were stolen from the 15th-century rood screen in Holy Trinity, Devon. Recovered by police in 2015, they had sustained considerable damage. Timber specialist Hugh Harrison, with help from conservation joiner Stuart Anderson, re-assembled the broken fragments. Painting specialist, Eddie Sinclair, carried out detailed conservation work on the polychromy.

Hear about this painstaking process from Hugh and Eddie, and see the newly conserved panels reinstated in Holy Trinity Church.

Ticket price includes tea and coffee in The Church House Inn, opposite the church.
