All Saints’ is a triumph of Victorian art and design, with dramatic colour and pattern on almost every surface. Join us for a talk which will look at the importance of our collection of Victorian textiles. In particular, we will be exploring:

  • The role of ecclesiastical textiles at All Saints
  • Embroidery techniques and fabrics used
  • The historic significance of the All Saints textiles

There will also be an opportunity to view the banner attributed to William Morris and take part in a discussion of its origins.
