A Church Tourism Week event - storytelling family fun at medieval St Mary's

Join Jeremy, the Jolly Jester, to tell tall tales, short tales, new tales, and old tales at St Mary's, Shrewsbury!

Inspired by stained glass windows, which convey whole stories in a glimpse, St Mary's will be filled to bursting with terrific tales this Church Tourism Week.

Read some traditional – and not so traditional! – stories together. Use finger puppets, marionettes, and Naga - the ‘ride-in’ dragon - to explore stories you know and tell new tales which flow from your imagination. Become an author at the story station. Make story-telling ‘stained glass’ to take home (small charge applies).

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination! Drop-in activities; no need to book.

Don’t forget, you can share pictures of your terrific tales with us on Facebook and Twitter.
