Starting at St Marys in Capel visiting All Saints, Little Wenham which is one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets hidden up a track pass one of the oldest houses in England.

The Suffolk Walking Festival is one of the largest and longest running walking festivals in the country.   Celebrating Suffolk’s natural and built heritage, visiting every corner of the county.  In May 2019, the previous festival walkers collectively left approximately 28 million footsteps across the county!

Scenic walk starting at St Marys in Capel via All Saints, Little Wenham which is one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets hidden up a track pass one of the oldest houses in England. This is a 13th century flint church, with a Tudor brick topped tower and behind the altar the walls are alive with medieval paintings such as St Margaret with her dragon and St Catherine with her wheel.

Parking is available behind St Mary's Church in Days Green, Capel St Marys. Please note that there are no toilet facilities.
