Springwood High School's Summer Concert

St Nicholas' Chapel, King's Lynn, Norfolk

The concert is Springwood High School's final concert of the year and celebrates the music from many of our ensembles and soloists, including the Concert Band (who are performing this week at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham as part of the National Festival of Music For Youth), Big Band, Cantabene (our senior Choir, who will also be performing at the Royal Albert Hall at one of the Youth Proms in November), Springwood Sinfonia, and a student band who will also be appearing at Festival Too. The concert starts at 7pm, although this will be preceded by a short performance from around 150 local primary children who have been learning the recorder for the last few months. Tickets for the concert are £5, with tickets free for under 18s and can be purchased from thelittleboxoffice.com/shsptfa. Music ranges from Mozart to Queen, Bach to the Spice Girls - something for everyone!
