A Patronal Service at St Edwold's church
Although St Edwold's dates from the 17th century, its unique dedication, to the 9th century hermit of Cerne, suggests that this may have been a site of worship for far longer. It is a tiny church in a wonderful setting deep in the Dorset countryside. We hold a patronal service each year on St Edwold's Day and we hope that visitors will come to see our lovely church and perhaps join us for the service - you will be most welcome.
