Come to All Saints' Church, Alton Priors to enjoy two evenings of glorious music at the 23rd Summer Festival by Music for Awhile.
On Saturday, 7 July, at 7 pm,"A Handel Feast" will feature an exciting programme including Handel's opera Apollo e Daphne, sung by Milly Forrest (soprano) and Adam Maxey (baritone) with the MFA ensemble. The festival will begin with a musical entrance: The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba.

On Sunday, 8 July, at 4 pm, the festival continues with "Bach in the Afternoon". It will feature performances of the Lutheran Masses (written for special Feast days in the church's calendar). The flute suite and other solos will reveal the glories of the acoustings in All Saints' Church.

Music for Awhile ensemble is directed by Margaret Faultless. Singers: Milly Forrest, Martha McLorinan, Hiroshi Amako and Adam Maxey.

Tickets include a programme and interval drink: £20 for adults and £5, for each concert.
