Music at the Mausolem - Milton

An afternoon recital, featuring music and song from composers as diverse as Handel and Hector Villa-Lobos. Featuring soprano Suzi Saperia and John Forsyth MBE on classical guitar.
Suzi Saperia was born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and went on to obtain her MusB (Hons) from the University of Manchester, where she was awarded the Proctor-Gregg Prize for her final solo recital. In 2013 she completed her MMus in Vocal Studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She continues to study with Professor Susan McCulloch.
John Forsyth MBE FRSA has enjoyed a distinguished career both as a performer and music educator. During a long and varied career, he studied with both John Williams and Julian Bream before performing with groups such as the London Contemporary Dance Theatre Ensemble and The Yorkshire Camerata.
This concert will feature works by Rossini, Handel, Villa-Lobos and John Dowland. The concert forms part of a project funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund.
