Music at King's Lynn

Two concerts organised by Music in Country Churches. Join the English Chamber Orchestra and The Cardinall's Musick for two fabulous evenings of music in the magnificent setting of St Nicholas' Chapel.

Together they will perform Richard Strauss' Violin Concerto. The programe also include Mendelssohn's 'Hebrides' Overture and Mozart's 'Jupiter' Symphony.
On the second evening, The Cardinall's Musick, one of the UK's most acclaimed vocal ensembles, will present a programme of choral music to celebrate Sir Charles Villiers Stanford. Their programme is called 'Sweet Music' and will take you on a tour of the English Choral Tradition, with works by Tallis, Parry, J.S. Bach, and Stanford.
Both concerts start at 6.30pm and will be over between 8pm and 8.15pm, and there will be a 20 minute interval. Refreshments will be on sale.
