Renowned local choir joined by Grammy® nominees for unique concert


The King’s Lynn Festival Chorus is performing with twice Grammy® award nominated Stile Antico in a concert of 16th century Spanish music by Tomás Luis de Victoria. Stile Antico pronounced STEE-lay an-TEE-co, literally means ‘old style’.

Stile Antico will perform the Tenebrae Responsories; and will join King’s Lynn Festival Chorus to sing the Officium Defunctorum (Requiem Mass).

Recent reviews of Stile Antico include “A magnificent display of the very best kind of polyphonic music” (Anthony Pryor, BBC Music Magazine) and “The singing is staggeringly beautiful, the balance meticulous” (SP, The Sunday Times).
