Keysworth String Quartet : 'Four Seasons in an Hour' - Winterborne Tomson
An inspiring concert being given by the Keysworth String Quartet at the remarkable church of St Andrews, Winterborne Tomson
We are inviting you to an inspiring concert being given by the Keysworth String Quartet who performed here successfully two years ago. They will be playing music from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons interspersed with musical gems with a seasonal flavour from Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Waldteufel and Gershwin. The Quartet consists of four accomplished musicians, Rosemary Fraser, Elizabeth Sheppard, Aidan Fisher and Michael Moorsom, who all live locally in Dorset. This will take little more than an hour and afterwards you are warmly invited back to the Manor for wine and eats.
St Andrew’s is one of Dorset’s loveliest and the only remaining Norman apsidal church in the county. It was also one of Thomas Hardy’s favourites. This evening’s entertainment is primarily in aid of the church, looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust, whose government funding has been slashed heavily in recent years. We are also supporting Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, and the parish. We do hope you will come to this memorable event but please apply soon as we only have seventy tickets given the small size of the building. For those unable to come we would be delighted to receive donations for these worthy causes!
To request tickets please send an email and post a cheque made out to RH/TP Charity Account OR make an online payment to RH/TP Charity Account 01319563 at Lloyds Bank, Sort Code 309092, using your name as reference, replying by email that you have done this to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will not send out tickets but keep a list at the door, thank you
