Incantati at All Saints Cambridge

All Saints' Church, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Composer and violist, Rachel Stott, was one of our soloists in October 2021 and we are thrilled she will return with fellow musicians Emma and Ibrahim in this sublime ensemble which is sure to be one of the music highlights of the year at All Saints’.

Incantati brings together three instrumental timbres which were used in the baroque period to represent enchantment or otherworldliness, whether it be the touch of the supernatural, the moment of falling in love or the departure into the next world.

Programme to include arrangements of 3-part keyboard music by JS Bach for this unique combination of instruments.

Music At All Saints is a joint venture between The Arts Society Cambridge and The Churches Conservation Trust. Through a regular programme of music, art & drama, the aim is to welcome more visitors to All Saints’ Church, Jesus Lane. The painted interior is one of the most significant Victorian decorative schemes in the country.
