Learn about timber and decay in historic buildings. Ventilation and insulation will also be addressed. The session will be led by Tim Floyd, Conservation Scientist and Surveyor. The session will include a presentation and discussion followed by a tour of the historic church which is currently undergoing adaptation works and will become a community and events centre, opening in October 2018.

This free event is tailored for college and university students and heritage professionals. However, all individuals over the age of 16 are welcome. The maximum capacity is 15 attendees.

Tickets must be booked in advance.

The tour will take place at ground level. Attendees will need to wear sensible footwear, such as walking boots (wellington boots are not permitted). Attendees should bring appropriate clothing with them for the outside tour of the building. Hard hats and high visibility jackets will be provided.

Light refreshment will be available.
