Heritage Skills Study Day Returns - King's Lynn
St Nicholas' Chapel, King's Lynn, Norfolk
New locations, guest speakers, behind-the-scenes tours and more...!
On Saturday 14th October history and heritage enthusiasts are invited to go ‘behind the scenes’ and learn about some key buildings in King’s Lynn. Last year, the Heritage Skills Study Day was a great success, so this year it is back – bigger and better.
Starting at 10am at St Nicholas’ Chapel, the varied agenda includes visits to Greyfriars Tower, the Stone Hall and King’s Lynn Minster. Talks and tours will be delivered by experts including Susan Lee of Eskdale Restoration who will be demonstrating paint conservation techniques. Morning and afternoon tea, and a buffet lunch are all included. The day is due to end at 3:30pm.
All this is on offer for the amazing price of just £20 per person thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore some unique historic buildings and learn about their care and restoration.
