Visit four Hampshire Churches and learn about their history and links with gin!

The Churches Conservation Trust churches at Privett, Itchen Stoke, Preston Candover and Freefolk all have connections with gin. Follow the Hampshire Gin Trail from Privett to Freefolk and find out for yourself how these churches are linked by downloading the gin trail driving route and enjoy new interpretation at each church as part of Heritage Open Days.

At Privett you will find out about local botanicals and how they are used to produce gin. There will be volunteers at the church on Saturday 11th September 10:00-18:00 who will be happy to share their knowledge.

Itchen Stoke will have new interpretation about the local history and new Spitfire Pilot's Memorial at the nearby Folly Hill.

Preston Candover will have new information about the history of the church and a voluteer to answer your questions on Saturday 11th September between 11:00 and 14:00.

Freefolk has a new walk round guide to show you the key features of interest in the church.

As well as visiting the churches, you might like to visit the Winchester Gin and Bombay Sapphire distilleries along the way.
