Led by our very own Dave Adgar, this guided walk will explore the deserted village site of Goltho, focussing on the church and its setting.

The village of Goltho was deserted in the 17th century as a result of climate change. The tiny chapel was all that remained of this once thriving settlement. In October 2013, the chapel was ravaged by fire and at present, only the exterior can be seen. This guided walk will give participants an outline of the story of the church and the settlement which once surrounded it. It remains impossible to enter the building and the event is unsuitable for children.
