A Church Tourism Week event - Free family fun with a seaside flavour, at Manchester Cathedral

This Summer Manchester Cathedral’s Education Department are imagining that we are by the sea! Of course, situated close to the River Irwell which leads to the Manchester Ship Canal, boats have never been far away - and there are many nautical symbols to discover: look out for anchors and even a plate of fish and chips decorating the Cathedral! Come aboard for a Terrific Tuesday as we explore the beautiful medieval building, re-tell some sea-faring stories and get crafty at our Creation Station.

*Sessions are led by our Education Department and resources are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We welcome donations to help cover the cost of materials.
