Explore the forgotten historic gems of Lincolnshire's coastal marshes in the company of those that know them best.

Following collection at Doncaster railway station the day starts at All Saints, Saltfleetby, a church sparsely but beautifully furnished with a gorgeous 15th-century carved screen and two pulpits, one Elizabethan and rustic, the other 17th century from Oriel College, Oxford.

The isolated St Botolph, Skidbrooke has an air of peace in contrast to its wild, marshy setting, The bare and unadorned interior has several wonderful arcades, giving the church its wonderful charm and character. St Peter, South Somercotes is known as ‘the Queen of the Marsh’ as its spire has guided sailors along the Lincolnshire coast for centuries. Finally at All Saints, Theddlethorpe, we'll see incredibly rare parclose screens dating from the 1550s.
