A service of Evensong at St Peter's church


St Peter's church stands on the site of a previous church destroyed during the Civil War and dates from the 18th century, with later additions in the early 20th century. Consequently the architecture is an interesting mix of Neo-Classical (the tower and nave) and Gothic Revival (the chancel). Each year we hold a service of Evensong on the closest Suday to St Peter's day and visitors are most welcome to join the local congregation.
