Evensong - Portland
A service of Evensong at St George's Church
In 2016 we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the completion of this grand church. Built of the wonderful local Portland stone - as is St Paul's Cathedral in London - it demonstrates the skill of the local masons here on Portland. The interior of the church is beautifully preserved and, in the churchyard too, there is much to investigate and enjoy. We hope that visitors will come to see our magnificent church and join us for our service of celebration.
