Join local illustrator Jonny Boatfield to celebrate the Victorian World at our free Easter drawing session!

Local illustrator Jonny Boatfield invites us into ‘Victorian World’, a microcosm of Victoriana, inspired by the colourful and celebrated designs inside All Saints Church!

You are invited to colour, draw and design your own characters and buildings to add to ‘Victorian World’ or you can even embellish Jonny’s drawings with your own designs.

Jonny’s fantastically detailed style is reminiscent of that of well-known twentieth century children’s illustrator, Edward Ardizzone and fuses historical fact with fantasy. Much of Jonny’s work draws on the literature and the books he read as a child and is uniquely imaginative. Jonny studied with children’s Illustrator Quentin Blake and like Blake, Jonny has gone on to illustrate children’s books – writing and illustrating the celebrated ‘Twilight Book’ in 2000.

The Easter Drawing Extravaganza is a great opportunity for people of all ages and abilities who love drawing to get involved and work with an experienced artist.

Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult.
