A talk about John Benet, 15th-century Chronicler and Rector of St. Lawrence's

John Benet, a famous Chronicler, was Rector at St Lawrence in about 1464 for 3 years.

He had links to Dunstable Priory and the talk will be on Benet and his background and links to Broughton.

There will be two talks, with tea and cake available in the interval.

This is a joint event with the Two Villages Archive Trust (Milton Keynes village and Broughton being the two villages), so you can discover more about local history at one occasion!
