Join us as we celebrate 10 years of Harmonia Sacra at the Advent Reflections Christmas concert!

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Harmonia Sacra and we will be celebrating together with friends and families in the heavenly settings of St Thomas the Martyr.

Formed in 2009 by Peter Leech, the group has gradually acquired recognition for their sublime national and international performances of late Renaissance and Baroque choral works, as well as contemporary choral music. Described by the Bristol Evening Post as 'a fine body of singers', Harmonia Sacra will be launching their 4th CD,  In Dulci Jubilo, on the night of the concert.

Join us for a special evening in the ethereal acoustics of the Church, as the chamber choir will perform their usual feast of choral music to mark the beginning of the Advent season. This year's traditional favourites will be presented alongside a new composer comission, diving into the first modern performances of Baroque and Classical Choral works.

Guests can expect to see works by Palestrina, Fux, Andreas Hammerschmidt, Tchaikovsky, Hugo Distler, Cecilia McDowall.

Tickets can be found on www.harmoniasacra.co.uk, where you can also find information about how pre-order your copy of the CD.
