Anglia Baroque - A (free!) Lunchtime Concert
We specialise in playing mainly 16th, 17th and 18th century string music by composers from across Europe. Our repertoire includes pieces from well known composers such as Purcell and Corelli, but we also enjoy presenting interesting and beautiful music from some of the lesser known composers whose works are seldom heard.
Please join us for a free Lunchtime concert at St Mary the Virgin Church at Little Bromley.
17th century string music by Rosenmuller, Marini, Purcell, Castello and Biber.
The five players are from bands such as Belsize Baroque, Essex Baroque Orchestra and Suffolk Villages Festival Orchestra, and will be performed by Rosy Payne (Violin), Stephen Cheek (Violin and Viola), Andrew Spencer (Viola), Rachel Fulcher (Cello), Christopher Dexter-Mills (Continuo).
Bring along your own packed lunch and tea/coffee refreshments will be available from 12.30 pm.
Wrap up warm!, and enjoy beautiful music in this superb acoustic of St. Mary's Church.
