200th Anniversary of Georgiana, Duchess of Newcastle

A service to celebrate the life of Georgiana, Duchess of Newcastle

The Mausoleum at Milton was built by the 4th Duke of Newcastle following the untimely death of his beloved wife Geogiana, who died 200 years ago in 1822.

To celebrate this anniversary and her extraordinary life, the Friends of the Mausoleum are holding a service which will include extracts read from the diaries of the 4th Duke of Newcastle.

There will be an opportunity to look around this wonderful building and chat about its history with the knowledgable Friends group.

All are welcome and tea, coffee and cake will be served at the end of the service.
