An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Communications Officer to develop a communications strategy and support its delivery through the Bats in Churches partnership project to secure the next stage of lottery funding. The project aims to provide help and support to places of worship effected by bats.

The role of the Communications Officer will be crucial to get the right messages across to the right audiences. You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the issues and be able to work fast and effectively with the project team through the development phase to enable a successful Round 2 HLF application in March 2018.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working collaboratively with project managers and core partners with a proven ability to manage and deliver your own workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines. An aptitude for interpreting and evaluating data as evidence to inform your decision making will enhance your application.

This is a contract role made possible by funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
