ICON: Design and Create Your Own Talisman with Bethany Stead

In this workshop designed for beginners, you will be led by artist Bethany Stead to make your own charms, good luck talismans and idols using air-dry clay. Under Bethany’s guidance, you will learn basic building and decoration techniques to make small objects and sculptures that may inspire, guide and protect you.

No experience necessary, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, or bring an apron with you.

• You can leave your work at Seventeen Nineteen to dry, pop back in after a few days to collect and paint at home.
