This is My Theatre return for a performance of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre.
The play tells the story of the orphaned but indomitable Jane, confronting a world that seeks to silence her spirit as she searches for freedom, belonging and love. Jane is an exceptional heroine of Victorian fiction, placed in seemingly impossible situations but trusting to her integrity, courage and endurance to win through to a life lived on her own terms. From the brutality of Lowood boarding school, follow Jane’s encounters with the enigmatic Mr Rochester and the dark secrets of Thornfield Hall, and with the chillingly virtuous clergyman, St John Rivers. As ever, This Is My Theatre will interweave the story with live folk music. It's sure to be an evening to remember!
