Celebrate Your CCT Church Festival

Our goal is to keep historic churches alive and open to everyone. From 4-14th June 2026 our wonderful volunteers and community supporters will organise events at historic churches all over the country to celebrate the history, diversity and beauty of historic parish churches, and highlight the role historic churches have in bringing communities together. This year during the festival we are also hosting the #ChurchCakeOff. We are encouraging our supporters to create a cake inspired by your favourite CCT church and the treasures within it. It could be a cake depicting the church itself, or a feature such as a gargoyle or a stained-glass window, or it could be inspired by a story related to the church, such as the Black Dog of Bungay!
