The Festival Chorus presents Carl Orff's masterpiece, together with a stellar line-up of guest artists, conducted by Music Director Ben Horden.

Contemplate the whims of fickle fortune with Carl Orff's sweeping cantata "Carmina Burana". The ionic "O Fortuna" which opens the work, has become synonymous with epic moments in popular culture and sets the scene as we delve into fate, love and the human condition. This version of the work is for two pianos and percussion. The soloists are Harriet Mountford, Soprano, Rory Carver, Tenor, and Geoff Clapham, Baritone. Constant Lambert's secular cantata "Rio Grande" completes the programme. This concert is in association with the King's Lynn Festival. Drinks available in the interval.
