CCT Annual Lecture 2025 with Dan Jones

Join bestselling historian and broadcaster Dan Jones for an exclusive recording of a lecture exploring the remarkable life and legacy of Henry V — warrior king, military commander, and one of England’s most iconic monarchs.

Originally filmed live from Southwark Cathedral on 17 November, as part of the Churches Conservation Trust’s Annual Lecture series, this event brings history and heritage together in an evening of compelling storytelling. Dan Jones will delve into the dramatic events of Henry V’s reign — from the legendary Battle of Agincourt to the cultural and religious world he inhabited, shaped by faith, ritual, and the enduring presence of the parish church.

Access to the recording of this lecture costs £10. Members of CCT receive free access as one of their membership benefits.
