Next week, our volunteers and communities will be participating in Love Your Yew Week, a campaign to care for our nation's ancient yew trees, many of them found in churchyards. Each year, the campaign encourages custodians of yew trees to take action to create environments where ancient yews can continue to thrive. Just like our gardens at home, this is also a great time of year to prepare churchyards for Spring, whether they have a yew tree or not. Contact your CCT Local Community Officer to find out more about volunteering in your area.

We have several ancient yew trees associated with CCT churches to be proud of, including a particularly ancient yew at All Saints', Alton Priors, believed to be up to 1700 years old!
