Vivienne King was appointed to the Board of Trustees in July 2025. 

Vivienne King is a qualified solicitor with a long history of championing sustainability in the real estate industry. After seven years with Herbert Smith Freehills, Vivienne joined The Crown Estate in 1994 as a Senior Solicitor and was subsequently Director of Business Operations & General Counsel, a member of the Crown’s management board with oversight for all legal matters and whose responsibilities included marketing, public affairs, HR, H&S and sustainability, leading development of the Crown’s first integrated sustainability strategy.  She was CEO of Soho Housing Association, providing affordable living in London’s West End, from 2016 to 2020, CEO of Revo, the trade association for the retail and leisure built environment and Head of Real Estate Social Impact at The Good Economy, a specialist social impact consultancy. In March 2024 Vivienne founded Impactful Places, an independent sustainability consultancy. Vivienne is a member of the City of London Solicitors Company and is a Freeman of the City.
