Michael Bithell JP

Michael Bithell JP was appointed to the Board of Trustees in July 2025.  

Michael’s background is in charity finance (he chairs the Finance & Audit Committee), previously as the group Finance Director for United Westminster Schools and before that an auditor at Deloitte, later Director, Quality and Risk.  He trained first as an engineer, leading the procurement of several large infrastructure projects in the not-for-profit and public sectors. 

Michael has a number of non-executive positions, including as a member of London diocesan synod, their Finance Committee and the Non-Property Investment Committee, and an honorary steward of Westminster Abbey.  He also volunteers as a trustee for a church charity near Manchester, and treasurer for two listed churches in north Wales.
