A special talk for West Lindsey Churches Festival

Adrian Gray is a Historical Advisor and Director of the Pilgrims & Prophets Christian Heritage Project, as well as a well known local historian who has written over twenty books on local and national topics. This event sees him give an illustrated talk on the role played by the Wray family in the events leading up to the voyage of the Pilgrim Fathers.

The talk will focus on the part played by Frances Wray in supporting the Puritan reformers in the early 17th century. Commemorated by two effigies within this tiny church, Francis Wray was described as 'a person of a shining conversation, and eminent bounty'. Seating at the church is restricted; please contact Dave Adgar to reserve a seat in advance. This event is part of the West Lindsey Churches Festival.
