National Volunteer and Community Day 2020

Join volunteers, community members and staff from across the country at our annual celebration of volunteering

You are are warmly invited to attend our National Volunteer and Community Day 2020. This year the event will be hosted at Carrs Lane Church and Conference Centre in Birmingham.

Registration opens at 10.00am with the event officially commencing at 11.00am. Following refreshments, guests will be invited to take a seat for a brief introduction to the day followed by The Marsh Christian Trust Volunteer of the Year Awards. After lunch, guests are encouraged to share and participate in plans for the future in a series of roundtable discussions led by volunteers and community members from across the country.

Everyone is welcome to attend, but reserving your place is essential. Please email to RSVP. We would be grateful if you could provide us with information on any allergies or dietary requirements that you might have. Closing date for RSVP's is Wednesday 15th January 2020.

Volunteer of the Year Awards

Nominations are now open for our annual Marsh Volunteer of the Year Awards 2020, generously sponsored by the Marsh Christian Trust. We warmly welcome any nominations for a CCT volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to the work of the Trust in 2019/20, in the following categories:
  • Volunteer of the Year - North Region
  • Volunteer of the Year - Southeast Region
  • Volunteer of the Year - West Region
  • Young Volunteer of the Year
  • Fundraising Volunteer of the Year
  • Volunteering Team of the Year
  • Digital Volunteer of the Year

Winners will be announced at our National Volunteering Day on Wednesday 12 February 2020, and will receive a certificate and £500 cash prize.
