First consecrated in 1065 by Bishop Leofric and dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours, there are many men and women whose lives and memories are associated with this fascinating church and many faces can be seen on the walls today in the memorials and artwork, or imagined. Find out what connects all these people to St Martins and make your own connection to this ancient place.
The church has acted as inspiration in modern times to local artists and an artist will be there on the day to help you create your own work of art inspired by St Martin's.
