Tower Tours of St Michael and All Angels, Princetown
The church of St Michael and All Angels sits on top of Dartmoor and has a fascinating history. It was built in 1812 by American and French prisoners of war when they were held captive at Dartmoor prison. The tower has been recently renovated and this is an opportunity to climb up to the second floor and view the church, and surrounding countryside, from high up.
Please note that we will not be going outside onto the tower roof during these guided tours. Only children over the age of 8 accompanied by a parent/guardian will be allowed to climb the tower.
Refreshments available.
