Heartwood Chorus sing original, spellbinding arrangements of songs whose murky origins stretch back centuries.

OK, it's time to get spooky. Come and get into the mood with some atmospheric unaccompanied harmony singing in the beautiful acoustic of the St Thomas the Martyr in Bristol city centre.

St Thomas Church, now lovingly looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust, is the perfect venue for a cappella folk song.

The first half of the gig will be a mix of recent Heartwood favourites and brand new material, then the second half will be a special set of Heartwood’s favourite spooky folk songs.

Heartwood Chorus sing original, spellbinding arrangements of songs whose murky origins stretch back centuries. As well as keeping alive the folk music of past tradition, they also perform versions of modern classics of the vibrant contemporary folk scene.

All ages welcome
