About This Church
'Hunky Punks' and the best stained glass in Somerset
All Saints, built mainly in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, stands on a hill near the River Parrett, overlooking the remains of a Benedictine abbey.
Its bold, pinnacled west tower, covered with gargoyles known locally as 'Hunky Punks', is a local landmark.
One of the church's special treasures is its east window, containing the largest collection of medieval stained glass in Somerset. The saints are shown in gloriously coloured robes with both animated and serene expressions.
Langport is a Champing Church so you can camp overnight in this historic church! Find out more here.

Current Campaigns:
Another treasure at All Saints is the chancel ceiling. This late fifteenth century timber ceiling consists of the most beautiful carved scrolling vines with leaves in the centre of the coffers. We are currently running a fundraising campaign to restore the ceiling. Find out more here.
We are also currently fundraising for a project to add toilets and a servery to expand the possible cultural and entertainment uses for this beautiful church Find out more here.
