About this church

Restored remains by the roadside

This little roadside church is the thirteenth-century chancel of a larger church which was a ruin until 1889, when the chancel was gently restored and a west porch added.

Inside you can see a fourteenth-century stone slab with an incised cross and chalice commemorating a priest, and Latin inscriptions in praise of the Virgin Mary adorn on the wooden ceiling.

A fine font and pews have been rescued from other historic churches.

A contribution can also by made by texting "CLI" to 70970 to donate £5 or 70191 to donate £10. Thank you.

This church costs £644 a year to maintain
